Some of our Testimonials

Kiti is a fantastic boutique, which in my opinion, has transformed the shopping habits of the local community. It's a small fashion shop, where the owner Gwenno, has managed to get together a collection of cool labelled clothes by various designers which truly complement each other. The design of the shop reflects the Scandinavian influenced designs it sells. It most certainly has the X factor required to be a success in the fashion industry. Cardiff was missing this kind of shop, & Kiti reaches out to all types of individuals in society, from the media savvy dresser to the contemporary aged woman. The turnover of clothes means that new lines are constantly introduced, & the accessories complement each outfit. It's been a great addition not only to Pontcanna, but to Cardiff city. Gwenno and staff are all Welsh speakers and it helps provide an unique identity in today's overcrowded and uninspiring market. Gwenno has work tirelessly to make Kiti a success, which is echoed by word of mouth and social media. It's a pleasure to have a small new business that can compete with and match the style and fashion nous of internet powerhouses such as Matches Fashion & Net a Porter, whilst retaining the customer as its priority

“Finally there’s an independent women’s clothes shop in Cardiff that I actually want to spend money in! Kiti is a fabulously stylish boutique owned by the equally stylish Gwenno Penrhyn and is located in the heart of Pontcanna. Here you will find an eclectic mix of clothes from European designers such as AG Jeans, Custommade, Beck Sondergaard, Pomandère, Ya Ya, Baum und Pferdgarten to mention but a few. Gwenno has proved beyond doubt that she has her finger on the fashion pulse and her stock is obviously appealing to all ages. The clothes are beautifully tailored and classic, but with an edge - the perfect mix. Price-wise there is something for everybody here too. Kiti is the kind of shop I have wanted on my doorstep for a long time. A place where I can indulge my love of fashion but knowing that I’m investing in good quality, affordable, sweat-shop-free clothes that will last a lifetime… without having to go to London.

“Gwenno has made a huge impact in a very short space of time. Her presence on social media allows me to see everything new that comes in to Kiti without me leaving my front door! Her fashion show and Prosecco evenings also give customers the opportunity to see how the clothes can be worn as well as a great evening out. Not only have I expanded my wardrobe (in a good way!) during the past year, but since Kiti came along I also have a greater sense of the community I live in. Bravo Gwenn

“Kiti is a much welcomed addition to the Pontcanna fashion scene and has quickly established itself as a fun and stylish place to shop. Full of interesting and affordable European and Scandinavian labels previously unavailable in this area of Cardiff, Kiti offers something for everyone. Service is attentive without being overbearing, shoppers are actively encouraged to browse, and discouraged from buying unless completely happy with their choices. All in all a great shopping experience in a relaxed and informal"

“Kiti is a very welcome new business for all women interested in high quality stylish clothing that’s realistically priced.

“Gwenno Penrhyn stocks brands (many Scandinavian and Italian) that are very difficult to find in South Wales. Before Kiti opened, you’d have to go to London to find many of these designers, but now they’re on the doorstep. It’s a pleasure to be able to support a new business like Kiti, knowing it’s making a contribution to the local economy rather than seeing the money spent outside of Wales.

“Kiti is very well stocked with regular new deliveries to keep keen shoppers interested. The service is friendly and helpful, with Gwenno and her staff making every effort to get to know their customers.

“I’ve been impressed by the innovative ways that Gwenno is developing her business - by working in partnership with other businesses and holding pop-up shops in other parts of the country including at the National Eisteddfod.”
